    Hi,

We have a problem with shipping methods.

We have 3 shipping classes : services, products and accessories. In the same time we have 2 shipping methods :Home and Store

When we try to buy an individual article everything is alright. For exemple the shipping cost of a services at store is 5€, products at home are 2€, etc..

But when we mix the cart with a service and a products two solutions are shown : 5€ at store or 2€ at home.

we want to have just one solution : 5€ at store.

Do you think it is possible to configure Woocommerce or can we hide one of the solution with CSS ?

I hope to have been clear.

Thank you very much for your help.

    Best regards,

    M. Leloup

    Hi @robsonlillard77420,

There should definitely be a way around this, but could you first confirm the normal names of those shipping methods?

Are you using just two Flat Rate Shipping methods for either charge 5€ at store or 2€ at home? Should one of the shipping methods only be available depending on the shipping classes in the cart, etc…?

I’m just curious of the desired outcome in fuller detail, could you explain more of what should happen depending on the product(s) and their shipping class? Thanks!

    Hi @ryanr14,

Yes we just use two Flate rate shipping methods for charging at home or at store.
I have made a board just below with our parameters. We are using “By Command” type of calculation.

    Shipping class
Shipping methods Services Product A Product B
Flat rate “at home” None 1.90 1.90
Flat rate “at store” 5 1.90 None

When the client make simple cart with just one of the shipping class it’s ok.
But when he combined Services + Product, he can choose between 5€ and 1.90€.
We want that Flat rate at store the only one available when Services are in the cart even with any other Product.

I hope this is more specific and understandable.

    Hi @robsonlillard77420,

That does make sense, essentially you need to split a cart to use different shipping methods depending on the products in the cart.

This will take an extension or some custom code if I’m on the right path here. Luckily there is one made for this on WooCommerce.com called Advanced Shipping Packages.
