The scan has failed to start. This is often because the site either cannot make outbound requests or is blocked from connecting to itself. Click here for steps you can try.

I have checked all ‘the things’ and I continue to get this error message.

    Hello @ipatrona,

Could you please send me over diagnostics from Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics > Send report by email to wftest [at] wordfence [dot] com with your forum username in that second field.

Please respond here when those have been sent.

Have you been able to run any successful scans on this installation previously?

    Hey wfscott,

I’m running into the same thing, could you look at mine as well? Everything was just fine not to long ago and this site was built a few months ago. I’ll send you the diagnostics right now. Thank you!!

    Hello, @otis

I see your diagnostics are looking good at first glance. This could have been a connection issue. If you continue to experience problems, could you please create a new support thread so an analyst can give it a look and diagnose the issue for you? You can tell them you sent diagnostics to wftest already with the subject line Otis at WordPress.org forum. (I just messaged you Scott). They will see those and be able to give you a hand.

Well I guess it was just a hiccup somewhere on something because it seems to be working just fine now. Thanks for your fast reply!!
