Recently noticed that after the Gutenberg update columns on my website appearing incorrectly. In Gutenberg editor it looks right (one columns next to another horizontally), but on my website it placed vertically.
I tried another theme and the same result.

Do anyone have an idea how to fix it?

    Thx.

  • How content is displayed is theme or plugin related. WordPress has NOTHING to do with the display of your content. Elementor may be the fault here as your content was created by plugin.

I didn’t use Elementor. Even now when created test page and build two columns in Gutenberg it appears correctly in editor but when you press preview columns located vertically.
Maybe it is the theme playing around…

The theme’s css controls what you see in the browser. Not WordPress.

1backstagegames did you ever resolve your issues with columns showing correctly (horizontally) in the editor, but showing vertically on the webpage.
I have the exact same issue

@spankyinthe210 unfortunately not, I have contacted the developer itself explaining him about the issue, he told that it’s gonna be update soon, but no update arrived in 1 month time 🙂
Try to contact your developer of your theme.

So the issue is related to the theme being used? I tried 3 or 4 others, including the Twenty Nineteen, Twenty Seventeen themes and the same issue is there. I would like to know a theme (free), that columns will work on. Thanks for your timely response.

It looks like nobody knows how to fix it. Devs are blaming WordPress, WordPress is saying that we are good it’s all themes fault. 🙂
In my case I decided to change my web layout.

Lol, Gotta love open source software. 🙁
