How can I delete the star rating from a review

    Hi,

    I have added a test review to a (woocommerce) product. I deleted it afterwards, but the star rating remains. Is there a way to delete the given star rating as well?

    Hi @simplysan

    Moving reviews to the trash should also remove the star rating as well. Do you happen to have a caching plugin that could be causing the star rating to remain?

    Hi there,

    I attempted to replicate this issue, and was not able to do so. When trashing a review the star rating is trashed as well. Can you please provide the exact steps to replicate the issue on your site and also provide a copy of a system status report.

    You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hi Kenin, apologies for the late response. What I did: I made two star ratings with reviews which I tried to delete. The review was simply deleted, the stars remained. Fortunately I didn’t trashed the reviews permanently, so I decided to restore them, because I was advised that the stars should be deleted, deleted them again and now permanently, but the stars are still there.
