• Hello,

I have 2 questions/issues im trying to work out. I am using the pro version of Booster

    1) I am dropshipping from multiple suppliers so I created a shipping class for each supplier. Then created a custom shipping method for each method/rate I need to use for each class. Then assigned the class to the method via the ‘methods by class’ module.

But in the cart, the products shipping methods that the classes are set up in, are not separated out as class specific methods for the product. Instead the shipping methods for the class are just shown along with the other methods available as a global option. This creates several flat rates for in the cart that apply to the whole cart no matter the amount of products in the cart. So a customer will pick the lowest rate and not pay shipping for the rest.

    2) In association with the issue above the table rate for the custom shipping method doesnt seem to add the new shipping for extra products from the same class in that custom shipping method.

Such as ‘custom method – flat 5’ has a table where 1 product is $5 and each additional is $2 more. But the rate dosent change when new products in a class using that method are added o the cart.

Basically I want to have the products that are in a shipping class, trigger a separate, exclusive, shipping method/s within the cart and when multiple products are added from the same class to add the + extra item shipping cost to the base rate.

This is what I want to happen:
    ————————————————————————————–
Cart- (customer chooses flat rate for each product class this ex.)
    —————————————————————————————
    Tshirt (class-test 1)_________shipping options:- flat rate #1 ($5 first item+$2 for second) =$7
    Shorts (class-test 1)____________________2 day #1 ($10 first item+$5 for second) =$15
    —————————————————————————————
    Ring (class-test 2)___________shipping options:- flat rate #2 ($3 first item + $1 for second)
    _________________________________________________2 day #2 ($7 first item+$3 for second) =$10
    —————————————————————————————
    Bucket (class-test 3)_________shipping options:-
    flat rate #3 ($6 first item+$3 for second) =$9
    _________________________________________2 day #3 ($15 first item+$7 for second) =$22

    _________________________________________total: flat rate = $20

But this is what I am getting right now:
    ————————————————————————————–
Cart- (customer is choosing – 2 Day 1 – and only paying $7 for the whole order)
    —————————————————————————————
    Tshirt (class-test 1)__shipping options:-flat rate #1 ($5)
    Shorts (class-test 1)____________________flat rate #2 ($3)
    Ring (class-test 2)______________________flat rate #3 ($6)
    Hat (class-test 2)_______________________2 day #1 ($7)
    Bucket (class-test 3)____________________ 2 day #2 ($10)
    _________________________________________2 day #3 ($15)

    _________________________________________total: flat rate = $7
    —————————————————————————————

I hope that makes sense. Am I doing something wrong or is the plugin not built to do what im asking?

    Thanks in advance
