• Hello,

I have multiple strings coming from my theme traslated with Polylang and Loco.
For some reason those translations are not working only when the option “The language is set from content” is selected. With the other options my translations are active. Here you can see the options we tested with the theme support.
Do you know how can I solve this problem?

If I change the setting “The language is set from content” most of my external URLs will stop working and this is not what I need 😉

    Thanks and regards,
    Nace

    Hello,

When the language is set from the content, some plugins / themes load their translations before Polylang could define the language. Generally it’s better to keep the default option (the language from the directory name).
    See https://polylang.pro/doc/developpers-how-to/#language-load

    Hi Chouby,

it is not an option for me to change the urls as I already have a lot of external links and they will stop working.

I will ask my theme support for other ideas how to fix this.

    Thanks,
    Nace
