• hi to all,

for the last couple of days i ve been using wordpress. i have been blogging and have been watching wordpress tutorial videos and dvds. i came across this awesome flash news theme which i got. however, there seems to be a problem with the featured post thing.

In the included Help & Tutorial PDF it says “..scroll down to customs fields and enter the “Key” as “image” and paste the image location URL into “Value”. I don’t quite understand the first part (which i marked bold).

In another board i ve read that somebody changed the file permissions on the theme’s cache folder to 777 or 755. When i checked the hirarchy of my server, I couldn’t really find a cache folder.

Would be great if someone could help

i have been struggling with this thing all night long now. would be awesome if someone could give some feedback. this theme is driving me insane

    Hi there,

If you’re still having a problem I might be able to help. The Cache folder is located in wp-content>themes>flashnews. If you’re using an FTP program you should be able to change the permissions by hitting crtl+i or command+i on a mac.

I don’t use this theme but if you send me the help and tutorial PDF I can have a look at it for you … mathieu (at) yuill (dot) ca

I am having this same problem with Flash News Theme – I see that your post is 9 months old, did you ever solve the problem and how?

It wont display the images in the featured section on the front page.

I have been struggling with this for several hours now.
