I’ve read this multiple times but I really don’t understand what it is you’re asking.
How are you creating reviews? Are you creating regular WordPress posts them embedding reviews via the shortcode?
Can you show me a live site with things are they are, then explain how you’d like things to be?
Hi Kemory,
Sorry, I knew it was a bit confuzzling!
For some reason now I’m getting a “page not found” error so I’ll see what I can do to fix that and then get back to you.
To fix that go to Settings -> Permalinks -> Save Changes
Thanks 🙂
So if you have a look at this: https://andromedaspaceways.com/?rcno_review=the-willow-by-your-side-2
You can see that it’s got “Published by andromedaspaceways on December 1, 2018” under the title at the top of the page.
The reviewer is actually “D.C. White” (I put it in the “author” tag to see if it made a difference) – so I want his name (and possibly “reviewed by”) at the top somewhere.
Hopefully that makes a bit more sense!
OK, I get you now.
First thing, the “Published by andromedaspaceways on December 1, 2018” is coming from your theme, so the Recencio plugin can’t do anything about that.
The “Authors” field in the review editor is for the book’s author(s). I suggest you only use the correct information here as it may mess with how Google parses the information in your review.
As for what you are trying… you would have to manually add this information to the top of your reviews.
As a suggestion… why don’t you let this other person create an account on your site and then change their user role to “Contributor”? That way, they can login into your site’s backend and create their review BUT it will not be published unless you approve it.
Ah, that’s an idea 🙂
Thanks so much!
