Cannot access dashboard

Hi,
I’m having problems accessing dashboard.

I can log into the site using my user name and password but all I see is the actual public view of the website.

I can see that I am logged in as my username appears in the top right of the screen. I cannot enter my profile but I can log out.

On the top left of the screen I see the website label but it no other else on the very top line where I’d expect to see “edit page etc.

I’ve tried re-naming “plugins” in cpanel.
I’ve tried re-naming “themes” in cpanel but when I login via wp-admin I am left with a blank screen.
