Alert popup variations product

am a webmaster and set up on a woocommerce site and I am faced with a specific request from a client:
We have a variable product (different sizes of shoes). By default, the drop-down menu for choosing a size has no value. If we add directly into the basket, the popup alert appears asking us to choose an option. My client would like to replace the popup with a small sentence. I can do it using another means. Click on the “add to cart” button, and of course, the add to cart is disabled.
How to replace the popup without shunting the button?

You can start by setting a default variation so that it’s not empty:
