i am upgrading hosting with my hosting company. the main domain name i was using for my hosting was not really an active site. all my active sites (i have 5-6) were under it – since many many years.

now i will have new hosting plan and i can choose a new main domain.

should i choose the website that is my main active website and the other sites should be under it? or i can choose any other domain that i own, as main domain, even if it is not a acitve site as before, and it doesnt matter? can you think of advantages or disadvantages to both options? as far as speed, security or other?

All good questions, but not at all WordPress related. You can use whatever domains (or subdomains) you want — my advice is that you not make it confusing, either for yourself or others.

With that, I’m going to close this topic.
