Setting up wp on subdomain

    Hi,
    I am setting up wp on a subdomain blog.domain.com. my main site is hosted on separate server than the subdomain. the subdomain points to a the folder /wordpress/.

    I installed wp and blog.domain.com points to the blog homepage, but all links point to domain.com/wordpress/xxx. This doesn’t work since domain.com is hosted on a separate server. If i change it to blog.domain.com/xxx it works though.

    Is there a way to tell wp to go to blog.domain.com/ instead of domain.com/wordpress?

    I tried the search but couldn’t find anything. Thanks for helping a newbie

    figured it out!

    I had to change the siteurl table in the sql database to point to blog.domain.com/ instead of domain.com/wordpress. Found the answer in another thread…thanks.
