First please make sure you have configured SMTP plugin properly. Generally, email issue appears if the email server is not configured properly. Installing SMTP plugin does resolve such issues.
So, please check whether you have configured this plugin. If you are still facing this issue, can you share a product link with us.
I am still facing an issue but I cannot share here a url at least for now, is there any thing I can do to debug this? Do you have a screenshot/guide how to set the SMTP/server with your plugin to use it?
