wireclub chat

hi,

I installed the wireclub chat plugin and now i want to use it.
in the installation instructions it says

Use shortcodes to place chat rooms or badges: . To add a chatroom: [embedchat name=”your room name” height=”desired height”] or simply [embedchat] to use the default values .

where should i put this shortcode?
if i put [embedchat] in header.php nothing happens.

please help.
