Is this compatible? Your help is much appreciated.
@kaat18
I am sorry but I do not know if this works. Theoretically yes, but there are still some custom wp staging settings in the database which needs to be converted and I am pretty sure that duplicator does not do this.
Simple question:
Why don’t you use duplicator only to create a clone? Yes, I know it is not as easy as WP Staging but as you do not plan to use WP Staging for the later migration it’s a much more saver option for you.

Hi René,
Thanks for your reply. That’s indeed how I normally work. I develop local, and push it to live with Duplicator, works perfectly. I liked to try your free version, just curious and this worked perfectly as well.
I thougt indeed there should be some restrictions for migration, so now I guess, I should buy your pro version as I do not like to migrate manually and I don’t want to repair things afterwards. So it’s one push of a button? Are you assisting if something goes wrong? And, I think, price of your Pro version is too high.
Vielen Dank!

Hi René,
I don’t understand the price model completely.
If I buy a single license for one customer website, it’s € 89,-. But now I see, I need to pay this amount yearly.
I thougt I am going to buy the Pro licence just once, push my website to the live site and that’s it. Thought I do not need the Pro version anymore then after the migration, and I am planning to delete the staging site after migration. Is this how it works or do I miss something? Why paying yearly for the Pro version? Thanks for your reply.

Hello Kaat,
I am not allowed to give support for the pro version due to the WordPress forum rules.
Please contact me directly at support [at] wp-staging.com and I will answer all your questions quickly.
Thank you:-)
