We are experiencing issues with the form not submitting to Constant Contact when we use the form autofill feature. We do not get any green checkmarks in the field showing the data is validated. The form does submit and redirect to our acknowledgment page, but the contact info does not make it into CC.

I have enable logging for debugging purposes.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Autocomplete on the form is not validating correctly. Still submits the form, but does not populate in CC. Only a few tests have successfully populated the list in CC. All those had the green checkmark showing field validation. Error occurring in Edge and Chrome browsers.

Enabled error logging… no logs exist.

Really hard to say what may be going on, given that it’s apparently the autofill that’s failing. We don’t have anything that I’m aware of that would/should prevent that type of browser functionality from working.

That said, I was able to get these 3 autofilled with Firefox Developer Edition: https://cloudup.com/cyWZJ55nHPZ

Any changes that you’re aware of that have been made to the form/the site in general since it was working last?

I just installed the plugin and built the pages yesterday. It seems to work 50% of the time.

The autofill is not failing. IT is working as expected. It is the Form that is not validating correctly when using autocomplete/autofill. No green checkmarks appear in the form when using autofill. Only when manually entered.

We’ve kicked some tires, tried some things out, and we think it’s still validating and being considered valid, despite the missing checkmark. From what we can see, especially with Chrome, is that the browser’s styles are overriding ours, and thus the checkmark isn’t being displayed. However, the text is still being moved to the right to make room for the checkmark. It’s also receiving the green border. We even used a touch of jQuery and it was returning true for valid state checks.

I think you’re more proverbially golden at the moment than it seems. It’s just the browser(s) muscling their way in a bit in a couple places.
