OK So I got WordPress installed using Fantastico everything is good with WordPress itself BUT there’s this problem I DON’T KNOW what it is or where its coming from!

    This is the site: http://itsthewave.net/

    Try doing these things:

    • Go to bottom POLL and vote, see what happens after “..loading”
    • In the Front Page I am using something called thumb.php which automatically resizes images for blog posts BUT something is not letting it work so now no images come out.
    • Simplepress isn’t working in the “Forums” page
    • Avatars are not loading as “User Photos”
    • Youtube videos using EasyTube Plugin dont show up!

    …..and more!

Basically anything that I update or add just wont come out and anything that should make other thing work DONT work.

I know its one thing not letting all these many things work, I just don’t know what that one thing is!

I have spent 20 hours trying to figure it out and I haven’t.
I really need your guys’ help, please visit that site and try those things.

    Thank you.

  • A good place to start is disable all of your plugins. See if the site works.

Then start enabling the plugins, one at a time. After each one is enabled see if the site still works. That way if its a plugin you will find which one it is.

If the site doesn’t work with all plugins disabled, the theme is suspect. Switch to the default theme and see if that works by itself, with all plugins disabled. Then backtrack, step by step.

No I tried that It still doesnt work 🙁

Pls help! If you know any ideas pls tell!

    Hi

If you disabled all plugins and loaded the default theme and WordPress still didn’t work, then something is wrong with your WordPress installation. I suggest you start over. Backup your database and current WP installation before doing so.

When you get the new installation in, start enabling plugins ONE AT A TIME. Confirm that one is working as intended before enabling the next one. Due to the nature of the problems you’ve had, I suggest you download the plugins again rather than using a version you already have, just in case there was any problem with the plugin download and upload
