• Hi!

hank you so much for reading my post!

My website is still in construction but you have access to the home page : lunarestrepo.com. My theme is A.R.T.

My question is , how to make the picture of my home page immobile? Because right now, you can scroll down and up. I used Beaver Builder to create the home page.

I have as well another question. I want to know if I can buy a new theme, install it, and still have my settings of the theme I have right now , saved, if I want to put my old theme again?

Thank you so much for you help!!

  • Theme questions should be asked in the theme’s support forum, as the author and users are more likely to know how to do things with that theme. Same for plugins like Beaver Builder.

Theme options are stored in the database, and remain even if you switch themes (unless you restore a database backup or something). So you can switch back and your options are read from the database and used again. In addition, there are plugins to export Customizer options so that you can import them in another site, or just save them in a file external to the site for safekeeping.

    Hi @joyously !

Thank you so much for your help!

When you mean my options do you mean the appearance or all the pages created and settings linked to the pages? (subcategories, layout, etc.)

And I’ve been looking for the theme’s support forum but I don’t seem to find it. Do you maybe have a link?

Again, thank you so much for your time!!!

Everything about your site that is persistent (content on posts and pages, settings, which plugins are active, which theme is active, the theme’s settings) is saved in the database. Each theme has its own entry, where it stores its settings. When you switch themes, the theme settings remain in the database and you can switch back without having to reset everything. What you are referring to as appearance and pages created and subcategories and layout might be related to the plugin Beaver Builder and some might be the theme and some might be plain WordPress (post content).

If you got your theme from the theme repository here, then that is where the support forum is. If not, I can’t help you with other site’s themes.
