Change the permissions on wp-content to 766. If that doesn’t solve the problem, try 767 or, as a last resort, 777.
Hi,
Assign 766 recursive permissions to the wp-contents/uploads folder..once you grant it..your issue should be resolved positively..
Thanks,
Shane G.
The uploaded file could not be moved to /www/freewebhostx.com/h/a/r/haritvmala/htdocs/thiruvilwamala/home/wordpress/wp-content/uploads.
This is my example, here the message shows a directory which is incorrect. For all those who were having this problem have the same error of wrong directory. ie., the area in bold are first three letters of the parent directory. For example here the actual directory url should be haritvmala.freewebhostx.com/thiruvilwamala/home/wordpress/wp-content/uploads
but not /www/freewebhostx.com/h/a/r/haritvmala/htdocs/thiruvilwamala/home/wordpress/wp-content/uploads as it is being shown in the error message
COULD ANYONE HELP PLEASE…
