hello,
i want to change the events page title because it shows as events archive but i can’t figure out how to change it.

Good question. The word “Archives” is actually coming from either your theme or another plugin.

One thing you may want to try is to head to Events > Settings > Display and make sure the calendar template setting is set to “Default Events Template” (https://cloudup.com/c90B1JnHAbT).
