– I moved my WordPress install from a hosted server to my own home server running Fedora 10 with LAMP. I’m running the web server on port 21333 (because Comcast blocks 80) and the version of WP is 2.5.
– I ran the commands found on this webpage and everything seemed to be working properly: http://bit.ly/mkvhQ
– Now it seems that the only thing I cannot do is post comments to the blog. Whenever I try, I get a page saying, “Method Not Allowed: This server only supports GET method.”
I’ve made all the appropriate changes in Apache and it should be working properly according to everyone I’ve talked to. I can post new blog entries just fine, I just can’t post any comments now.
To test my server, I did a fresh install of WP 2.7.1 to see if I could post comments at all and the answer is yes, I can post comments to that blog just fine.
Any help would be much appreciated, as this is driving me totally insane.
