Trailing Title Separator in SEO Title

Hi,

I’ve added a SEO page title for a page like this:

This is | The Page Title | For My Site

I would like it to display like this, however it is adding an extra separator to the end of the title like this when viewing on the front end:

This is | The Page Title | For My Site |

Is there a way to prevent this trailing separator being added?
