    Hi, working on my site http://www.tangoshow.eu/wp/ I realized it suggested me to upgrade it to 2.7.2. I clicked “ok”, it started installing directly and then suddenly appeared the “500 Internal server error”. End of the story.
    It might be the qTranslate plugin?

    Thanks in advance
    Diego

    2.7.2? There isn’t 2.7.2 version that I’m aware of. You sure it wasn’t a plugin upgrade? Rename all of your plugin folders and see if you can get WP running again.

    Thanks esmi, I renamed all the plugins folders but still not working. I think it may asked me to upgrade to 2.7.1 like you said but that’s more weird.. because I’ve just created this blog 2 days ago installing the 2.7.1!
    Maybe the better choice is to start all over again? snif..

    add this:
    <httpErrors errorMode=”Detailed”/>

    in web.config
    after:

    </handlers>

    in order to see the actual errors

    Hi valbg, Is it possible that there isn’t any “web.config” file into an Apache server?
    Maybe I can’t find it because I’m working with php? All I read on google is that “web.config” works on asp.Net.
    ..Or maybe I’m too newbie 🙁

    Any tip please?
    thanks.. snif

    Replay: I was working on 2.7.1 (few days ago installed and working right) when it asked me to upgrade it to 2.7.1 (which I already had!). I started the automatic install and then “500 internal server error” everywhere.
    I realized that on my server appeared an empty upgrade folder and the “wp-config-sample.php” between others..

    Maybe I should start all over again..

    I’ve just re installed everything.. we’ll see..

    cheers.
