I am building a site using Astra theme with Elementor Pro.

I’ve created all my pages and a header and footer with the conditions set for entire site on each.

When I go to edit a page in elementor the header and footer do not appear with the content area in the middle. It just shows the standard blank page for elementor as if I was starting from scratch, no header or footer.

I built a page adding the header and footer and footer from my templates thinking maybe this is just how it works.

Then I went back to my header/footer templates and made a change to see if they would update and it did not.

Am I missing some type of global setting? I already of the condition set to entire site.

I’ve moved this topic to fixing WordPress and I’m closing it. You’re asking for support of a commercial product and as the author is aware, that is not permitted here.

Additionally, unless something has changed then the pro version is not GPL compatible and not welcomedmin these forums.
