Role capabilities

    Hi Tobias,
    I’m using Profile Builder plugin to edit roles so Contributors can do a bit more. I see there are capabilities built in to TablePress. I’m trying to let the Contributor make and edit their own tables but not edit or delete other’s tables.

    Here are some capabilities I’ve added. So far it seems getting the power to make a table also allows them to edit other’s?

    tablepress_add_tables
    tablepress_list_tables
    tablepress_edit_tables
    edit_tablepress_tables (like previous??)
    publish_tablepress_tables

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Unfortunately, this is not directly possible. The reason is that TablePress uses some extra capabilities, due to how the internals work. Thus, only the capabilities that begin with “tablepress_” are really relevant — and unfortunately, those don’t directly allow what you are after, sorry 🙁

    Now, I am however working on a TablePress Extension that will allow a more fine-grained control here. As it’s still a work in progress, I don’t have details published though. If you are interested in testing it, please send me an email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”).
