• Hi Group,

I just started my blog Sunday morning and can’t seem to resolve one issue with the header and it’s driving me crazy. I want to remove the blue and keep my custom header there.

    example: http://www.frankloveswine.com

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

go into your CSS and delete #73a0c5 (which is the hexadecimal value for that blue) from the background declaration, in #header.

    Hope it helps,

You can delete the blue by removing the value as mentioned above, but you’ll still have a large white area above the header. See the following videos for details on editing the Kubrick header along with a complete Kubrick Photoshop template you can download and edit.

WHY isn’t there a link or some other means right there on the Edit Header page to insert your own “personalheader.jpg” instead of this repeated nightmare for all of us every time we upgrade? The headers on the blog and the comment pages ALWWAYS get lost or all screwed up. This is a major shortcoming of WordPress.
