Hi @doktorneder!
Please enable Debug mode in Wordfence via Tools > Diagnostics. The option is located at the bottom of the Diagnostics page. Once you’ve enabled that, run a scan again. You will now be able to see all files that are being scanned and any errors that may be occurring during the scan in the scan log.
If you are unsure of how to interpret the scan log, copy out the 20 or so last rows from it after the scan has failed and paste them here in the forum. Make sure you remove sensitive details from the log as appropriate (for example your domain name).
Thanks!

Thanks @doktorneder,
Sorry for the late reply. This seems like a strange place for the scan to stop. There is no error message at the end of the log, the log just ends like that?I’d recommend you then look at your PHP error logs to see if you can find an error message there. You may be able to find the php error logs via the “Logs” section on the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page.
Hi @doktorneder,
We haven’t heard back from you in a while so I’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved.
if you’re still having issues with Wordfence, please feel free to open another thread.
Thanks!
