Plugin Support

Hi @merat!
Do you have some sort of server cache on your website? With an update our sliders cannot be deleted, because they are stored in our own database tables, which isn’t modified by an update, so your problem could be happening if your server host serves something wrong for some reason, probably because it loads your codes from cache.
Also on the frontend of your website you are getting a javascript error which points to a code we used to have, but we do not have it anymore, meaning this is a cache issue too. I don’t see any cache plugins used on your website, that is (and because of the Dashboard error) why I think this is a server cache caused problem.
If you know about a server cache, you should clear it, but if you don’t, then you should contact your server host and ask them about it!

Hi Gabor,
Thank you for your answer. I did ask my host about it, but they need more comprehensive information on the specified “server cache”. That`s what they said.
Kind Regards
Hi @merat
Does your host not know whether they do caching for your site or not? That’s very-very odd.
Unfortunately, there can be many type of server side caches and your host can use any of them. Maybe its Varnish or Memcached or some PHP level cache – we can’t really tell you that, but your host should be able to.
So the best I can tell is to ask your host to do a deeper investigation of what kind of settings they run on your site, because they should be able to tell you the caching method they use without asking further questions from you.
Hi @merat
Just one more thing. If you can’t seem to get closer to the solution, please open a support ticket: https://smartslider3.com/contact-us/support/?topic=Error&platform=WordPress&version=Free
referring to this topic.
The problem was solved from the host’s side by clearing the cache at the server.
