Validation on hidden mandatory fields

    Hello,

    Recently, the hidden mandatory fields no longer work as they should.
    I assumed that validation only take effect when a required field is displayed.
    But unfortunately I cant’t submit the form when a hidden mandatory field isn’t checked.

    I am sure that this worked fine recently. My client gave me a hint.

    Do you have any idea what might have gone wrong?

    The acceptance field is an exception. It’s impossible to make this field optional, as it is intended to to accept terms and conditions.

    Instead of using an acceptance field, use a mandatory regular checkbox instead.

    Thank you very much for your feedback.

    As there is for the acceptance checkbox an option to use it as optional field I would say that it is also intended to work like that.
    But I’ve already replaced them in the meantime with the regular checkboxes.
    The problem here is that you can’t use HTML as checkbox text. But I could also solve this with a workaround.
