Thanks for reaching out.
When you say “it doesn’t follow through” you mean it doesn’t show up on your front-end?
If yes, could you please clear cache? By that, I mean…
– The browser cache, see https://www.solutionbay.com/solutions/dont-know-how-to-clear-the-cache-1
– Please also check if you have a cache plugin installed. If so, please disable it temporarily, and check if it’s ok now
Also, please check the troubleshooting section on https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/uploading-custom-icons/
Actually, i’m talking about step 1, “Which icons do you want to show on your site?”, and I’m trying to add Meetup in the Custom1 slot. I get a popup telling me how to upload an icon. I go through the steps but nothing happens after I click “insert into post”. I do see “thumb_error” on the popup before it disappears.
I don’t have a cache plugin, nor does my WordPress backend have a cache clear option.
Yes – did you check the troubleshooting points on the page I mentioned above?
Yep, tried the Step 1 and Step 4 to no avail. Cleared the browser cache to no avail. I guess it might be the server issue you mention. I’ll have to look into that.
Did you manage to fix it?
No, we might just add the button as content. It doesn’t seem to be quite the same thing as Facebook or Twitter or something anyway.
Ok thank you for your reply.
