Adding content to Frontpage

I would like to add content to Frontpage like you do in most other themes. i.e. after all the banners, videos, products etc I’d like to have my ‘Home’ page content to continue. I can’t seem to be able to do this. I found some instructions with the theme which state that I have to select ‘Frontpage’ template in the ‘Home’ page, however there is no such selection. There are a few other options, but none of them do the job. Can anyone please help?
