Quantity discount
-
Hello,
Quantity discounts are not in % but in money currency !
It would be better to put a %

Can you further explain the issue? I don’t quite understand what you are talking about.
Ok
I want to offer a discount depending of products quantity.
So I install the add on “Tiered Pricing / Quantity Discounts”
I want to offer a 5% discount for 2 products at least.
I go to the product configuration page and set “2” in the quantity field and “5” in the discount field.
But it is not 5% but 5€ … so the customer does not have 5% of discount but 5€ per product…
Regards,
Olivier
Unfortunately it does not accept % values, but you can do the math to calculate what that % discount would be and enter that value directly.
Yes and no
If I have a product at 5 and I offer a discount of 5%, I will enter 0.5 but the discount is applied on others products at different prices !
So, if the product cost 10, the discount will be 2.5% and not 5% !
Can you please set this value in % ? It would be better 😉
Olivier
Please note the add-on you mentioned helps setup per product pricing, so I am not clear on what you mean that it affects other products. Are you referring to discount codes and not tiered pricing? There is a big difference between the two.
Discount codes a user enters a special code at checkout to receive a specific discount.
Tiered pricing allows you to offer lower prices when the user buys in higher quantities of the same product.
Can you confirm which of these you are using?
I am using twice but I am speacking about Tiered pricing module.
Let’s say you are selling a product for 10€. When they buy 5 of them you want to offer a 5% discount. Then you would enter a quantity of 5 and a discount of .5. I tested this and it worked as expected.

Yes it works but we cannot have different tiered pricing per product / prices levels so the discount will not be, in %, the same for another product at a different price !
The solution is to enter a discount in %
Thank’s
