W3 Total Cache – Browser Cache – exception list

    I would like to disable Browser caching for my wordpress front page and the url https://www.domain.com/latest-updates/.

    I tried adding them to the “Prevent caching exception list” with:
    index.php
    /latest*

    But I still get an expire header 24h in the future. When I disable the entire Browser Cache, then the expire header is removed.

    Am i using the wrong expressions for the Prevent caching exception list?

    Hello @wpraider,

    You can exclude that page from being cached in Performance>Page cache, scroll down to advanced where you will see “Never cache following pages:” field.

    Hi @vmarko,

    I still want those pages to be Cached with Page cache. I just want to disable the browser cache for them.

    Hello,

    Browser cache works per extension only. So you should not use Browser Cache for html in that case Uncheck expires header in this case.
