• From the moment I purchased the premium annual plug-in version (165$!) for my WooCommerce, several problems have started.
    The main issue is the incompatibility with other geolocation modules, since the technology used requires the hiring of programmers to implement the webservice.
    The GTranslate server is located in France and this causes that any selection of languages creates the illusion that the user is really connected from this country.
    On the other hand, given that the system makes requests to an external server, with my provider we have had to comply with changes to avoid other communication problems.
    I am very dissatisfied with the customer service that, instead of proposing solutions, has guaranteed me that its plug-in works correctly, declining any responsibility for all the problems caused (of which I have proof by email).
    It is a pity that for their policy we cannot claim the money of the annual subscription, a situation that would be mandatory in my case: Malfunction and problems that can cause the loss of confidence with my clients.

    BTW, maybe the unpaid version works properly, but the paid is awful and lack of Customer/Technical Service using a bad behaviors to communicate…

    Hi,

    Unfortunately the communication is removed by forum moderators, even it did not contain any personal information (emails, names, domain names, etc).

    You have been offered help with no additional payment request from me.

    The solution is to use X-Real-IP header to get the real user IP address when the request is from GTranslate, instead of using our proxy IP when detecting the geo-location.

    I have offered you help to configure your geo-location plugin which you have rejected.

    Once again, it’s strictly forbidden to share the content of personal emails even if I have nothing to hide!

    If you want to offer a solution, please start to refund the rest of the yearly plan I would like to unsubscribe (around 40 USD), and then we could talk about it.

    We already have spent a lot of money in developing due to your plug-in, time in translating and much more.

    Otherwise, please let me know your decision in order to share with the WP community your policy regarding the unsatisfied customers.

    • This review is legit as upsell is part of the plugin here. But discussing it in-depth isn’t for this site.

      For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.

      As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
