• Firstly, I cannot link you to the site as this is on my local dev. I am definitely using this plugin. I am declaring native AMP support in the functions.php file through if statements. The AMP validates correctly in development mode.

I have added the amp-sidebar script to the header and have tried adding an amp-sidebar element, but the plugin strips it out. When I disable the plugin, or load the site on desktop (not using AMP) it shows it fine.

Why would the plugin strip it out?

    Thanks in advance.

First of all, you should not manually add the AMP component script to the head. The plugin will do this automatically.

Secondly, how are you adding amp-sidebar? It must be a direct child of the body to be valid.
