How to clear, delete, or refresh token

    Hi Support,

    We have used the latest version of the plugin that requires token and it works well so far.
    However, we can’t figure out how to clear the token.
    We have already saved the Page ID and token for a Page, but we want to replace with a different one e.g. a different page owned by another FB account.
    Howe can we do that?

    Another strange thing we noticed, is when we logged in to one WordPress site and generated the token there; then logged in to another WordPress site, the FB page and token are reflected there. Why is that?

    Hey @thefriendlancer,

    There’s a couple important things to note:

    1) You can use the Access Token obtained to display any Facebook page, you don’t actually need to get a token for each Facebook page. You can use a token from Page A to display a feed from Page B, even if you aren’t an admin of Page B.

    2) The Facebook login in our plugin uses facebook.com, so to switch to a different Facebook account all you would need to do is log out of Facebook in your web browser. Then, when you use the login button in our plugin it will prompt you to log in again, at which point you can log into any account you want. That is the reason why it’s automatically retrieving your Facebook page/token information when you use the button on another WordPress site; you have already approved the app with your Facebook account and as you are logged into your same Facebook account when you use the button on the other WordPress site then it automatically returns the relevant page/token info when you use the button.
