Hi. The plugin has this feature. Check it’s settings -> Advanced Settings tab -> Terms and Conditions section.

We can add the timestamp when terms were accepted and user’s IP address to the order info. Would that be sufficient for the evidence?

That would be great. How would I go about doing that?

This has not been implemented yet.

Also, would it be possible to obtain the email address linked to the payment, from that IP address (or an alternative way where we can easily match the customer with the IP address)?

You can search orders by email address. You’ll have timestamp and IP address in the order info. There would be an additional checkbox to enable this functionality as it definitely raises your GDPR requirement (plugin is not storing customer’s IP address in normal situations).

When is expected to be implemented?

Can’t give you ETA at the moment, needs discussion and approval by the management first. I’ve created a ticket with this feature request in our inner system.

Which view are you referring to, when you state that I can search for orders by email address? Is this the Stripe payments dashboard?

I’m referring to “Orders” page of the plugin. You can search orders by anything you like using search box at the top right corner – email, name, address, transaction ID etc.

Correct. Other than implying “customer cannot pay unless he accepted TOS”.
