Once they have subscribed to your blog, set them up as Editors using Admin/Users.
I have setup user for them, but they can do and see allot of things that just makes them confused.
I would like to change the rights for the user “Editor” so that it focuses on the “Pending Review” posts, how can I limit the rights for the user level “Editor” to do only that.
Actually it would be perfect if I could “Assign” a user as the proofreader for one or more post and when they login they see only thous posts.

You can take a look at Role Manager and/or Role Scoper plugins.

Well, Role Scoper is extremely complex. Role Manager is much more straight forward. Both can address different issues with a fair amount of functionality overlap.
To be honest, off the top of my head I’m not sure if either will solve your problem. I just know that these are the two most in-depth plugins for role and capability adjustment.
Role Scoper is complex enough that you may want to visit the plugin author’s message board and just simply ask if his plugin will suit your needs.
Thanks for all your help, I actually have gotten most of it done, now they only see the posts that I want them to see.
But I have one problem left, and that is that they can still access
“Status: Draft Edit Visibility: Public Edit Publish immediately Edit” and do other things related to posts.
I would like to limit their ability to just save and nothing more.
I found this “thing” but I do not know how to use it, it’s the capability “publish_posts” as I understand it it is attributed to the role Contributor, if I could remove it they could not access the Publish , In the same way I would like to remove all but the save post items from there.
But for right know I would just like to know how to use these capabilitys where are they and how do I use them?

I think I got it it’s actually so that you can not edit the “publish_posts” thing directly your self but have to go to a plugin and one of above mentioned, Role Scoper, does exactly what I want
It has a check bog that turns contributors in to vat basically is prof readers.
Roles, options, Pending Revisions
it is described as :
Users with a Contributor role for a published post or page can edit it for review. For Administrators, these revisions are listed alongside regular pending content, but link to the revision editor, where they can be “restored”.
so now I can go to bed and rest easy 🙂
