    Hi,
    I can successfully override single-mp-event.php but when I want also to override the widget layout widget-view.php in my child theme but when I file it at

    /themes/mytheme/mp-timetable/widgets/widget-view.php

    or

    /themes/mytheme/mp-timetable/templates/widgets/widget-view.php

    any changes are not output – are there any other requirements to do this?

    Hi @neilgee,
    You should enable Developer mode in plugin settings if you want to see the changes you make by overriding templates of plugin. Make sure the path is as follows
    /themes/mytheme/mp-timetable/widgets/

    Yes thanks it is working when I enabled Developer mode.
