We run our WordPress website in multiple languages (with the WPML plugin: https://wpml.org/), we are therefore required to show the notice cookie banner in the proper page language.

Please add support for multilinguale so that we can translate the banner.
    Thanks

    Hi @florianweber2,

The GDPR Cookie Consent is completely compatible with WPML. Please let us know where in the plugin you are having the incompatibility issues.

Hi @webtoffee, we have configured a message in the plugin’s settings under ‘Cookie Law Message Bar’ and couldn’t find a way to translate this message.
The WPML “String Translation” feature didn’t do the trick.

You say this free plugin is compatible with WPML, yet the Cookie Law Message Bar message field contents does not show up in the WPML string translations list, and I believe that’s by design. I believe that the translations are to be made using the WPML language switcher in the WP admin screen for the plugin. I have tried this, but to no avail. The same content shows in both languages regardless of what the WPML language switcher is set to. There seems to be only one group of settings that applies to the message.
This is the second time I’ve tried this plugin, and the first time, this functionality did work. Did something change?
