• Hello!

I’ve started to use Elementor and it’s totally another world. I’m working on a website for a luxury B&b and using Elementor I’m also including a nice map of the area.

The map has to be personalised as colors and fonts have been decided during the brand identity creation.

I’m working on local at the moment and I have to admit that I probably understood 50% of what I should to use API keys.

I already have a website and using a different lugin I created a map that I also stylised.
For this new website of the B&b I’d like to add style to the map, and using my own email I created an additional project and got an API key to be used in the Google Map section of “Elementor Addon Elements”. Everything has worked well for two weeks but then, today, the map lost it’s style and shows the “For development purposes only” watermark.

The only explanation is that the sites went over the 200$ allowence given by the basic google map account. The problem is that my own website is my portfolio and the visits aren’t so many {as I use it for job hunting}, while the other website is still in local so I am the only visitor.

Seen that the client has a different mail {created for the B&b} I am thinking to register that on Google Maps and use it to get a fresh API key.
What I need is just personalising the map, so paying a lot just for that seems too much.

I know that maybe the problem is caused by other issues, but worth the effort to ask if someone had the same problem and how did you sort it out?
