I contacted my host (Yahoo! Small Business) and they found some issues with the MySQL database. They fixed the problems from their end and solved the problem!

Yesterday, all my comments disappeared from my blog at http://www.stephendanko.com/ and I get the following message at the top of my Admin Page:
WordPress database error: [Can’t open file: ‘wp_comments.MYI’ (errno: 144)]
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_approved = ‘0’
WordPress database error: [Can’t open file: ‘wp_comments.MYI’ (errno: 144)]
SELECT COUNT(comment_ID) FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_approved = ‘spam’
I have not made any changes to my blog recently except for posting new posts.
I’m using WordPress 2.0.2. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to successfully install the most recent version of WordPress, although I’ve tried.
