    Dear Developer,

We noticed that some of the photo’s preview are blurry. I hope you give us an answer soon.

Thanks so much! BTW, Final Tyles is really good looking, love it!

Locate the blurry images from the images panel of your gallery, click the edit button and choose a larger size.
This way you’ll keep the current grid, otherwise you can use a lower image size factor (General section) but it will reduce the size of all images.

    Cheers

All my thumbnails come out super blurry when they are downsized. I’d prefer not to choose a larger size as it defeats the purpose of a grid for my images. Can you help?

If the images are blurry that means the plugin must make it larger in order to fit the images in their container, so choosing a larger size is not an option if you want to fix it.

If you need more image sizes follow this guide: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-additional-image-sizes-in-wordpress/

you can add a size the fits better your layout.

The thing is on my macbook laptop the images are not blurry, same as another iMac computer on a another network, and even another macbook laptop in a different state. However on when I look at my site on another computer (Windows) and even the mobile version the images are blurry. Is this still considered an sizing issue?

Is this still considered an sizing issue?

The grid of the gallery changes based on the width of the browser, so it can be a sizing issue. If you can send me (diego@greentreelabs.net) the URL I can have a look at it.

I checked your galleries, now it’s clear, it’s Photon of JetPack! It’s a good tool for users who put giant images in their posts but it clashes with other plugins like mine. Try to deactivate Photon, the gallery should work as expected.

I see. Do you know the easiest way to do this?

Jetpack > Settings > Image Performance (switch it off)

I did try that and it didn’t seem to work.

I really like your plugin and would love to keep using it, but if it keeps displaying my images as blurry I’ll have to find another solution. Do you know if it might be something other than Photon?

Do you have other plugins for image optimization? It could be also the theme, you should try switching to the default one and look if the issue is still there.

When I first used this plug-in the images were not blurry, so I don’t think it’s the theme. I deactivated the Smush plug-in but its still showing blurry. Thank you for all your help I appreciate it. I guess I’ll find another alternative. Thanks again!
