Hello,
Thank you for your support. We really appreciate it.
We’re working on the new Gutenburg editor compatibility. Every plugin that uses some degree of editing functionality needs to test and then develop the necessary changes to make compatible. Fortunately the changes we need to make aren’t as extensive as some of the others.
You can continue to use your current editor until the changes have been completed. This will be in 2-3 weeks. We’ll then notify you when it’s okay to start using Gutenberg.
Thanks!
Thank you for your quick answer! I will be patiently waiting for your update!
Thanks…we’re on top of it and is our highest priority. WordPress won’t make the Gutenburg editor mandatory for some time yet. You can continue to use the Classic editor as normal. Then switch to it later on if you wish.
FYI – we just released our Gutenberg editor compatible plugin. It is included in the latest plugin release.
You’ll now be able to create your recipe cards withing the Gutenberg editor the same as you do with the Classic editor. We’ll create instructions on our website and provide a link to it here later on.
It’s really very easy…
Click the “+” (plus symbol) to add a new post module where you want the recipe card to appear > select “Formatting” > select “Classic”. This opens the tool bar that displays our plugin icon to launch create/edit recipe. That’s it. From there simply enter your recipe info as usual and save.
Dear all,
I have a question for Mealplanner pro.
Since I am using Gutenberg, I see my recipes end up on Google image search as archives, instead of the 8mage is attached with a recipe. Do I need to ADD something else? My older recipes with mealplanner pro are just fine, but the Gutenberg Posts end up differently on Google image.
Hopefully you can advise me what goes wrong here.
Thank you,
Caridad

Hello,
I’m not sure what you mean by archives? Can you please attach a screenshot of archive search listings vs. “image attached with a recipe”.
There should be no difference in how the plugin and recipe schema works with Gutenberg vs Classic so the screenshots will help to see any issue. i.e. – our plugin marks up the recipe info etc. the same as before.
Also, you can continue to use Classic Editor rather than Gutenberg Editor if you wish by installing the “Classic Editor” plugin. You’ll want to do this just in case you prefer using Classic rather than Gutenberg.
Thanks!
Thauthentic Dutch Oliebollenank you your quick reply.
My first link Authentic Dutch oliebollen has been written the Classic way! I can see there is a recipe attached to it.
My latest blog recipe Jewish Dutch Apple pie is listen with archives. This one is written with Gutenberg. All my blogs written with Gutenberg come this way.

I hope you can see the difference.
Thank you Caridad
Thanks. I’ll have a look and let you know.
It would be wise to install the “Classic Editor” plugin just as a backup. After WP releases v 5.0 Nov 27th the classic plugin will no longer be available.
Ok Thank you.
Or do I need to download a schema Plugin to support this again?
Greets
You don’t need a schema plugin. Our plugin handles all of the recipe schema for you.
