Misaligned list icons and social media icons
-
Hi, I’m building a landing page for a client but having alignment issues with the list/checkmark icons not aligning to the associated descriptions. Also the social media icons at the bottom keep stacking vertically on the published page. When I’m working from the elementor builder view, everything looks perfectly aligned. Thanks ahead for your assistance!

Is this a plugin your using or the standard Social Icon element?
Also, Is this in the footer widget or a standard Elementor column at the bottom of the page?I don’t know what theme your using but OceanWP has a Footer Widget area where you can specify the number of column.
Are your icons the same size when in Elementor as when on the web page? They seem to be tall and narrow. Check your Size, Padding and Spacing in the style area. Based on the size of the Text Letters it seems one of these may be set to high. This could cause each Icon to take up the entire line, forcing the next Icon to the next line.

Hi
Thank you for your reply. I have checked the backend and made sure everything was set to default. I even tried placing a fresh one in various places on the website, but it still stacks vertically no matter what. I’m inserting them in a new row at the bottom of a canvas page. Nothing seems to work. It looks horizontally aligned in the editor view, but it stretches vertically when I view the live published page. This is a clients website, I am not using any special plugins, just the one that came with the free elementor
I’ve looked at everything through Inspector and can’t find anything wrong. The only thing I see strange is a yellow box after each icon. It’s almost like a page return.
This is an alternative but have you tried adding multiple columns to this area and then add 1 icon to each column. You can drag the Social element into each column and then delete the ones you don’t want for that column. It’s almost like the Social area is getting setting like a mobile view.
One last comment: I looked at the rest of the website and this seems to be the only page where your not using your Home page header with the social icons at the top. Just curious why this page would be different than the rest of the site. Is this a different template?
