uninstall leaves traces in database

    after uninstalling updraft there are still database entries
    example
    updraft_azure, updraft_azure and more
    and yes i did use the wipe the settings button
    can i just delete these entries or …?

    Hi,

    UpdraftPlus does not delete its settings, or your backups, when de-installed. This is because some users de-install and re-install and don’t want to have to re-enter their settings when doing so.

    Yes, you can just delete the entries.

    You can also use the “Wipe Settings” button in the ‘Advanced’ tab of UpdraftPlus prior to de-installing.

    Another reason settings are retained is because plenty of people are upgrading from the free version to the paid version and don’t want their settings to disappear when they remove the free version.

    Oh sorry, you already said you used the “Wipe Settings” button. We will investigate that.
