Hello, I use BackWPUp n multiple sites, but i discovered that when i tried to unpack the back-up-zipfile (database) it says its empty. But the filesize says otherwise.

    Ik use the Windows-standard unzip-option.

I only use the standard Windows zip-programme, which works all the time. Why is this not working with these zipfiles?

In the recent versions, we have changed on how BackWPUp create archived so that it leads to the issue in Windows only.
Currently, we doing a fix in mirror update that can solve the problem 🙂
Will inform you about it 🙂

I had the same problem and was very worried. After I searched google.de, I was lucky to find this post. I hope that the topic will work again with the Windows zip program the next time you update the plugin. How is it possible that a user has to use another ZIP program?

Any updates to the plugin fix so other ZIP programs can view all the files properly?
