    I’ve been trying for 7 hours to get a response from Premium Support and haven’t had any response. I created a support ticket about the following error on my website:

    Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method wfWAFRuleComparison::getExpected() in /home/rimcou5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/rules.php:1259 Stack trace: #0 /home/rimcou5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/rules.php(144): wfWAFRuleComparisonGroup->evaluate() #1 /home/rimcou5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/waf.php(277): wfWAFRule->evaluate() #2 /home/rimcou5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/waf.php(205): wfWAF->runRules() #3 /home/rimcou5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/waf/bootstrap.php(607): wfWAF->run() #4 /home/rimcou5/public_html/wordfence-waf.php(6): include_once(‘/home/rimcou5/p…’) #5 {main} thrown in /home/rimcou5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/rules.php on line 1259

  • Hi Keith. We actually replied at 9:30 last night and are still waiting for your reply. I checked through our email server (tickets come in as emails) but did not find you in the spam folder. I had Phil look in his account and spam folder too. Can you please login to your account on wordfence.com and and answer Phil’s last question and send the diagnostics report he asked for? So you can gather the information before you login, and to help anyone else might have the issue here, I’m giving some more information about the problem.

    Phil asked if you had the PHP OPCache module on the server. The reason is that the function above that is ‘undefined’ has been defined since the first release way back in the original 6.1.1 WAF release, so it should exist on your site. When a PHP script is executed, is compiled into opcode, code that is understandable by the machine. OPCache stores this code into memory on the first execution, to be reused afterwards, thus leading to performance boosts. But we have seen sometimes that it stores stuff longer than it should and we think this might be the case in your installation, which is why we asked if you could flush the cache. When you didn’t respond we asked for the diagnostics so we could look and see if it is installed.

    Thanks!

    tim

    @mods Even though this is a premium customer this discussion is about the firewall which is in the free plugin. 🙂

    Fatal error: Cannot declare class SAPE_base, because the name is already in use in /home/p497844/www/host0755.ru/wp-content/uploads/.sape/sape.php on line 21

    @kcurrens, I presume you’re in touch with premium support now so I’m going to go ahead and resolve this thread.

    @host0755 if you have a question for us, please post your own thread and explain a little bit more what your concern is. Wordfence does not declare a class called SAPE_base. If you are not familiar with it, chances are your site may be hacked in which case you should hire someone to help you clean and secure it.

    Hi @host0755,
    What makes you think this is related to Wordfence?
