WHat capabilities control entering price?

    I have created a new user role with all product capabilities but the product price does not show when adding new products. I have imported several for a spreadsheet and these show on edit but not ones created from the dashboard. What capability am I missing?

    What option are you using to create a new user role?

    manage_woocommerce gives the option to manage all settings within WooCommerce, and create/edit products. – More info here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/roles-capabilities/

    Or were you looking at restricting some WooCommerce abilities for the custom user role as well?

    I’m using User Role Editor, is that wrong? I have a custom role with all the woo roles enables afaics but price after new is missing. What capibility specifically controls that?

    Having played around a bit, I believe what controls the price entry or not is the veiw_woocommerce_reports capability. Hardly intuitive!
