Well, I’m sorry you feel that way?
If you change your mind, I’m sure some people here would be more than happy to help you out.
Go Daddy has a great WordPress Getting Started guide. I kept trying to do it manually, and also got totally lost and nothing worked. I finally delete everything and used the install on Go Daddy, and everything came together perfectly. What confused me (and still does) is all the different username and passwords, but eventually it all sorted out.
The Getting Started guide I mentioned also goes into the pros and cons of using WordPress vs. their Quick Blogcast. Of course they are trying to sell their own stuff, but I think the guide gave an honest assessment of how much more you will get out of WordPress.
I understand if you want to use an easier blogging system, but since WordPress has so much more to offer you might consider giving it another chance. (And that’s speaking as a total NOOBIE myself).

I’m going to guess what you meant by that is that you have a username and password here and possibly a username and password at wordpress.com and for some reason you thought you’d use one or both with your self hosted blog? There’s nothing to be confused about. These are 3 seperate things so of course they have separate usernames and passwords.
However, I found an easier way to Blog at the GoDaddy Site!
See ya!
This is too messed to get going on…
It’s not going to be any easier for you over there.
